The device will reach the world market on 22 June, in parallel with the launch of iPhone OS 4.0, the latest operating system version of this smartphone, according to the U.S. daily Wall Street Journal.
As indicated by the specialized portal Mashable, these data are based on the statements of Hon Hai Precision Industry, producers of the previous versions of the iPhone, who claimed to be building two models of the Apple phone.
The first would be the standard GSM model to be distributed to AT & T and T-Mobile USA.
The second, a new iPhone with CDMA technology developed by Qualcomm and is not compatible with other networks such as WiMAX and 4G networks work for Verizon Wireless and Sprint, in U.S. territory.
